Something must have gotten mixed up in the info I received regarding your Moody ydna results or they sent me the wrong info or something, because according to what Bob has posted on our Moody surname project, you are only TWO off to my Dad at 25 markers and one of them is at a very rapidly mutating marker (DYS 464c), however I have to note that my Dad and our matching Ydna Moody line from Nova Scotia and Darlington, SC are the only ones so far within our little group that don't match at that marker to everyone else. We are all 3 One off to everyone else. I don't know what your 37 marker results would reveal as far as mismatches are concerned because it is in that (3rd panel as the 37 markers are often referred to), where the majority of the mismatches seem to occur in our "I1d" haploType. Its really odd that our particular group has SO Many mismatches in that last panel and yet we can show via documentation that many of those folks are all indeed linked together Much Closer than the Ydna results would have one to believe, so we aren't sure whats going on with our ydna numbers.
Anyway, Theresa, you Are indeed more closely related than I initially thought.
I hope I have this one right. I don't spend much time with the genealogy anymore, it just doesn't seem to be going anywhere for my branch, so I just don't do this so much anymore.
