I had already posted info about this back in 2007 msg. #9017. My apologies for the repeat.
However, this last message does contain a little bit more info from the NY records regarding what appears to be This James MOODY and the fact that it also mentions a "Mrs." Sarah MOODY in 1776 the precise time that James MOODY was listed as having been in the Rev. War (4th Regt. NY army).
I don't know if a Marriage record exists for James Moody and Sarah BAKER (eventually of Annapolis Co., Nova Scotia who were know were there by 1784), but so far I have not been able to locate a marriage record for them.
Will do a new search to see if anything turns up.
Anyway, again, my apologies for the repeat info.
I should have checked this site first, I think by now, I and others have probably posted everything there is about Any James Moody's, unfortunately none of them seem to link back to mine with any solid proof other than the Ydna matching family of James Moody who m. Sarah Baker in/of Annapolis Co., Nova Scotia, Canada in the latter 1700's.
Thanks again if anyone out there has further details they would be willing to share.
