the James MOODY who m. Mary LOUGHRIDGE line...-No. Ireland

Okay, after some more careful research into this line I ~think~ I may have put some things together that will be helpful to those researching these folks.
I am not 100% sure, but this all fits very well.
From info in the 1851 Co. Antrim, Ireland Census comes the
following:
Thomas MOODY head of house age 34 (so born c1817) born in Co. Antrim
Jane MOODY -wife -age 28 b. Kilconway [Co. Antrim]
William MOODY son age 4 b. Finvoy [Co. Antrim]
Anne Jane MOODY daughter age 2 b. Tullaghans [Co. Antrim]
** NOTE ** daughter Anne Jane MOODY would later marry Benjamin OWENS on May 2, 1873 in Dunloy Presbyt. Church in Finvoy, Co. Antrim [see Louise's post from Nov. 2010 msg. # 10932]
continuing on with Census data from 1851-
Abraham MOODY-Father- age 67 (b.c1784) no place of birth - given - Widow -
and finally a
Thomas CAMPBELL - servant-
My Note - this couple - Thomas and Jane MOODY would later in 1857 have a son James MOODY who married Mary LOUGHRIDGE.

Now...from the 1901 Galdanagh, Dunloy, Co. Antrim, N. Ireland census comes the following info:
James MOODY head of house age 45 (b.c1856/57...son of the above Thomas and Jane??) Linen weaver b. Co. Antrim - Presbyterian -[see Rebecca MOODY's post/msg. #11034 where she says her James Moody's occupation was ______ weaver, my guess is it says "Linen" weaver]
Mary (nee Loughridge??) age 42 (b.c1859) wife b. Co. Antrim - Linen weaver - Presbyterian
James MOODY son age 10 (so b.c1890) Co. Antrim
Annie MOODY (Mary Ann?) age 2 daughter b.c1899 Co. Antrim etc. OR did the daughter named "Mary" supposedly born after James die young and this Annie MOODY age 2 is a completely unknown child of James and Mary?

1901 Unshinagh Dunloy, Co. Antrim, N. Ireland census
Head of House -
Margaret J. GAULT age 65 Presbyt. b. Co. Antrim
and her family
Thomas MOODY - age 17 (so b.c1884 is this William Thomas MOODY son of James and Mary Loughridge MOODY??) - servant- Presbyterian b. Co. Antrim.

1848 Griffiths Valuations of Ireland
lists a Thomas MOODY of Ballymoney, Finvoy, Co. Antrim, Tullaghans
(the other Moody's in this same area were 3 John Moody's and a Matthew Moody in Ballymoney, Rasharikin, Magheraboy and we already know he's linked to our Ydna family as he married Letitia CASKEY more info posted on this board about them I'm sure...also see 1901 census)
Also see my msg.#11037 for a lot of info regarding these families with Links and school records for William Thomas MOODY and Jane MOODY both of Finvoy Tullaghans Galdanagh, Co. Antrim.

Also from an old (2000) posting at a LOKRIG / Loughridge archive GenWeb site, someone posted that Mary LOUGHRIDGE who married James MOODY was a daughter of Samuel LOUGHRIDGE
and Jane McCRACKEN (poss. her maiden name) of Tullaghans both buried in Garryduff Churchyard. This says that Mary LOUGHRIDGE had 7 siblings~ John, Margaret, Jinney, Daniel, Nancy and Robert LOUGHRIDGE. Several of her(Mary's) siblings went to America (Pittsburgh, PA and OH etc.)

I have noticed that some folks who have Online webpages that list James MOODY and Mary LOUGHRIDGE's children have some of them born BEFORE James and Mary were even married.
They have a daughter Jane b. in 1881 and supposedly James and Mary were not even married until Oct. 4, 1884[See msg.#1634 posted by Betty in 2000] so I am confused by this entry. Also the birth of William Thomas MOODY born in Dec. of 1884 doesn't make sense either unless Mary Loughridge was Very pregnant at the time they were married.

Now...my thoughts
Was the above mentioned Abraham MOODY b.c1784 father of Thomas MOODY who married "Jane"______, could he be related to our Alexander MOODY who m. Priscilla DICK line?
From all appearances Alex. and Pris.'s first son was John MOODY b.Oct. 13, 1774, but could this Abraham also be a son of theirs and a brother to our Ydna John MOODY b. 1774??
OR did Alexander MOODY b.c1750 in/of Lenamore/Magilligan, Co. L'derry, Nor. Ireland, have a brother that we don't know of and this Abraham was his son, making Abe a nephew of our Alexander's??
I'm just tossing out this stuff now, but I am hoping someone out there can give me further information on who this Abraham MOODY b.c1784 was that was living with his son Thomas MOODY b.1817 (a very common name among our Ydna Moody families), was and where he might have been born.
I have checked all of the birth records I have access to and cannot find any Abraham MOODY's born c1784 that fit this man. Please if anyone out there can help I would be most greatful.
Hope I didn't forget something or make any typo's and that this further info may be helpful to others.
