Thanks Melissa. As usual you educate as well as enlighten!
I'm just looking for one Moody now( well I keep acummulating Moody's still.Everytime we go by a cemetery my husband says"Wanna look for Moody's?"),the one the Genealogical Register says married Samuel Chamberlain sometime before 1785 in Rochester.
I really admire your stamina in respects to your own search.I'm frustrated with my family who pretty much stayed put.
Some of the branches of my paternal family went to Nova Scotia .As far as I can tell my direct line stayed here in the colonies.
After reading your post I did some research and found that the Presbyterians and the Congregationalists were very similiar in beliefs.
It's ironic your reference to Louisburg as the Rev. Samuel Moody of York,Maine was there and did a sizable amount of physical damage to some Catholic property during that time.Moody's againest Moody's?
Have been enjoying your posts; hope you stay well for a million gazillion x that many more years!!Tell me there's a Moody book in the works!!!!
