Here is just a bit more -
1860 Deerfield, Morgan Co., OH Census - Aug. 3
Samuel MOODY age 77 farmer b. Maine
Elizabeth 74 b. ME
Lydia A. Sayre 33 domestic - b. OH
George Sayre 4 b. OH
Stillman MOODY age 44 farmer b. Maine (interesting how Stillman Moody gained 10 years from 1850 to 1860 and he seems to have Kept that 10 years as is shown on the 1880 census as well, Unless the Census taker from the 1850 made an entry error and Stillman was actually age 36 in 1850 and not 26).
Bottom of the Same Page
Nathan W. MOODY age 42 farmer b. Maine
Eleanor 43 b. New Jersey
Rachel E. 14 b. OH
James M. 13 b. OH
Caroline 11 "
Harriet 9 "
Emma 7 "
Alvin B. MOODY age 2 b. OH
continued onto next page but still living in Nathan's household -
John L. MOODY age 30 farmer b. OH
Rufus 7
Josiah N. 5
Samuel P. 4
and ALEXANDER MOODY age 2 b. OHIO
So, going back to the 1850 Deerfield, OH census we see that John L. Moody was a son of Samuel and Elizabeth MOODY both born in Maine.
John is a brother of Stillman's so this would explain why Stillman Moody was living with John's son Alexander in the 1880 Malta, Morgan Co., OH census.
Apparently John's wife died soon after giving birth to his son Alexander Moody.
1870 Trimble, Athens Co., OH census
Nathan W. MOODY age 57 - Minister b. Maine
Ellen age 52 b. New Jersey
James N. 22 farmer b. OH
Caroline 20
Harriet L. 19 teacher
Emma 17
Alvin B. MOODY age 12 b. OH

That's all for now.
