I don't know if this inf. will be helpful or not, but I have been working on the Knoop/Mooer lines, particularly Michael Knoop who md. Rebecca (Mooers) Treadwell.Their dau., Mary Knoop md. Levi Parent. Several of the children of Michael Knoop moved to Miami Co., Ohio abt. 1820.Levi Parent was there, but no wife was listed in the census, so I assume she either d. in New Brunswick or on the way to Ohio, as did her mother, Rebecca. Levi Parent d. abt. 1839, and there is a deed in Miami Co., Ohio Deed Book 12 p. 211 that lists the heirs at law of Levi Parent. They include the following:-Daniel Parent & wife Sarah; Isaiah Parent & wife Sarah; Amelia Atherton wife of Benjamin Atherton; of the Parish of Queensbury, and Martha Atherton wife of Israel Atherton of Parish of Prince William, all of Co. of York and Provence of New Brunswick. The land of Levi Parent was released to my ancestor, David Estey, by these heirs of Levi Parent, who were probably the brothers and sisters of he and his wife. The name Atherton caught my eye, and I thought this inf. might be helpful.Naomi
