Moon DNA participation
A number of Moons have done DNA, but if more males surnamed Moon would participate in the YDNA project, separating the various Moon lineages would be a lot easier! Several of us who research the GA Moons (descended from the Bucks Co. PA Quaker Moons) would be willing to help pay for a DNA test for a proven male Moon descendant of Raleigh Moon who was born in Columbia Co. GA ca. 1800 and died in Heard Co. GA 1875. Many of his descendants were in Bell County TX and Cleburne Co. AL. There was a second Moon line in Cleburne. I think it's part of the same Columbia/Walton Co. Moon family, though not from Raleigh, but the only way to prove that is through DNA.
