My grandmother was Kathleen Moonan, born in Dublin, Ireland January 18, 1900, to Patrick and Bridget (Breen) Moonan. These Moonans came from Ardee, Drakestown, County Louth. Patrick, along with his father, Brian Joseph, and brothers, Maurice, Bernard and Brian, owned Moonan and Sons cabinetmaking business in Dublin (est.1865). They did most of the woodworking in St. Patricks' Chapel at the college in Maynooth. I am interested in finding out about relatives of the Moonans in Ireland. As it is not a very common name (originally from the Danes), I think we may be related. Let me know what you know about them. Thanks
