Portrait of Jonathan and Pamelia Moors Smith, Chelmsford, MA, 1825

The Summer/Autumn 2010 issue of Antiques and Fine Art magazine on p. 194 in an article pictures a lovely wedding portrait Jonathan Smith (1805-1880) and his wife Pamelia Moors Smith ( 1803-1860) of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, dated 1825.

I am scanning this portrait and the text about it in case any of the descendants might like a copy, either by email or by postal mail. Someone in the Smith or Moors families ought to have it--it is too good to be missed by the families. It may not have a lot of genealogical value, but it certainly does have a lot of family and artistic value.

My email address can be found by clicking on my underlined name above. Please reply to me at my email address rather than leave a message on this Genforum site, which I might not see.

If it were a portrait of a lovely Pease couple of the time, I'd certainly want someone to do the same for me.

Bill Pease, Lancaster, PA
