Hi. I have links to Moorhouses of Burnley who originated in Skipton. My g-g-grandmother was a Dinah Moorhouse born in Skipton in about 1816 , daughter of William who was an earthenware dealer on Burnley market in 1862. She had brothers John and Mason. Her father had sisters Dinah & Alice & a brother Mason. I believe his parents were John and Alice. I dont know when they moved into Burnley though. John Moorhouse, son of William was married to a Margaret. Any connection ?
