Samuel was born 23rd November 1916 in Normanton, Yorkshire.
His father's name was Wilfred Robert Moorhouse (he was a miner). Sam's mother's name was Hilda Gertrude (nee Copeland). Sam had a brother John W Moorhouse. Hilda later remarried and became a Goddard. Hilda then had another son named Alfred B Goddard. They lived at 4 Neatty St, Normanton in Yorkshire. I do not have any dates of births or marriages for these people.
Sam was killed in action in North Africa on 24 April 1943. If any one can send me information about any of these people I will be very grateful as I would love to find my long lost relations if there are still any alive. I am Roger (Sam's son).
