Thanks again Mark - I've looked at your posting history and see that you've been helping Moorhouse, Moorehouse Morehouse researchers for a long time now.
You've apparently read the microfilm "Bishop's transcripts for Repton, 1662-1881"(film #498118). I'm about to order the film. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that when those Moorhouse children were baptised, their parent's names were a part of the record. Perhaps you'd be kind enough tell me if that's true.
There is a bit of confusion as to when Joseph & Frances (Neville) Moorhouse emigrated to America (presumably with their children). Information that I've gathered on Thomas Moorhouse indicates that he came to America in the very early 1820s. Other researchers have concluded that Joseph & Frances (Neville) came to America in the very early 1830s.
My attempts to locate Joseph & Frances (along with their children) on immigration lists have been unsuccessful (to date).
