Winifred Moorhouse/Lawton/Gulbovich was my grandmother. She imigrated from England to Canada and had a sister Rose who died. Her father was knife/scissor maker as I have a handmade set of sewing scissors made by him in England dedicated to Rose. Winifred married Steward Perham Lawton and had two children, Marion Francess Lawton, my mother, and Richard Lawton. They lived in Battle Creek, Michigan. They divorced and she remarried Walter P. Gublovich.
She lived in Lancing Michigan until Walter's death in 1979 when she moved to Fernley, Nevada. She died in Reno, Nevada in 2002.
I don't know much about this side of the family except that most all the relatives on this side lived in Canada. I do remember a story of a relative who was crushed by a Clydale horse. My brother Andrew P. Shelton and I, Calvin E. Shelton visited our grandmother Winifred and Walter in the early 60's at which time we met many relatives in Canada.
Hope this helps.
