Hi again Mark,
Yes, I wondered where you were going with this family. The info that you originally gave me was the correct family in Sth Australia so if you can trace Edward to that family then he his the correct Edward Moorhouse.
I did locate a family in the 1841 England Census with father, John (a labourer) wife, Mary and son Edward age 14 (coal mining)as a possible fit. Family was living in Bradford, Yorkshire at the time.
