The extract is very interesting
I have a copy of the baptism records of burnley chapelry for 5 july 1835
it provides details of birth dates of the 6 moorhouse children of james and mary baptised together

this is pretty conclusive
the census returns i have seem suggest james was born circa 1794
the names of the children and the order they were born
ie first girl- grace
first boy- james

also william having a middle name of enoch

all suggest a strong likely link

I am away to see my mother in Cheshire
Im going to seek out longholme chapel

Im also going to have a look again at james moorhouses mill in whitewell bottom

It seems, oddly, that in my family tree, i am the first first-born son not to be called james.

Mark, most importantly, i am very sorry about the bereavement in your family. sincere condolences from the moorhouses of dunstable, bedfordhire; and sale, cheshire
England.
