m. 8 Feb 1869 Berthierville
Josephine Morault (Amable Morault & Julie Deguire)

Here are the next marriages in the Smith line:

Jean-Baptiste Smith (Jean-Baptiste Smith & Susanne Boulard)
m. 20 Oct 1845 Berthierville
Catherine Hottin (Jean-Baptiste Hottin & Marie Josephte Masse?)

Jean-Baptiste Smith, voyageur (Jean Smith & Josephte Chenet)
m. 7 Feb 1820 Berthierville
Susanne Boulard (Joseph Boulard & Angelique Renault)

And here is the next Hottin marriage:

Jean-Baptiste Hottin (Jean-Baptiste Hottin & Agathe Gueret)
m. 29 Jul 1805 Berthierville
Marie Josephe Masse (Antoine Masse & Marie Angelique Boucher)

The last name is definitely Hottin. Jean-Baptiste Hottin's family was, according to the above marriage record, from the parish of Riviere-du-Loup in Kamouraska.

The last name Hottin was also spelled Ottin or Autin in the parish records. Hope this helps. Annie
