Dear Andrea:
Thank you for replying to my inquiry. My Grandparents were from the region of L'Aquila about 75 miles south of the area your family was from. The brothers were: Albert (my grandfather-1886), Amelio (1889), Dominic (1895) and Patsy (1900). A sister stayed in Italy, Antonina (1905). Recently, I found a notation indicating there was another brother I was not aware of. "Joseph" was born in 1897 but I have no other information on him. They all came to the US "permanently" around 1909- 1913+/-. They settled for a short time in Wheeling West Virginia before heading to Detroit about 1919-1920. There are still extended family members in Italy that have communicated with others in the family here in the states. Some of the extended Morelli's back in the 1900 timeframe lived further out from L'Aquila but I don't know specifically where. What was your grandfatherís first name and when was he born? When did he leave the Detroit area? His brotherís names ???

Thomas Ennis
