Much speculation, little proof.

Elizabeth is said to be a daughter of John and Margaret (maiden name unknown) Morford.
Most of the information on Benjamin and Elizabeth comes from Applegate research.

John is a presumed son of John Morfit Morford, and identified in Enid Adams' tentative outline of the first generations of Morfords in America: "Whose Morford Was He--John's or Tom's?" as #2.

Elizabeth is not listed among the children of John and Margaret in that article.
