Although I am not related, I found this obituary in an old Bible I obtained from an antique store in Indiana. Maybe it will help a Morford researcher. It is unknown from what newspaper, city or state the obituary came:
Sarah Iva, daughter of Silas & Nancy Morford, was born in Wabash County, Indiana Sept. 15, 1874 and died Sept. 2, 1904, aged 29 years, 11 months and 17 days. She was married to Charles E. Studebaker December 19, 1896. To this union were born two children, Mary Louisa and Joseph Homer, both of whom survive her. She united with the Methodist Episcopal church at Concord at about the age of 15 years and lived a faithful devoted Christian till her death. She was a kind and helpful neighbor, a good worker in the Sunday School when able to attend, a loving companion, a tender mother. She has gone to rest and will be greatly missed. She leaves to mourn a husband, two children, a mother, three brothers and four sisters, with many other friends. The funeral was conducted by Rev. W. S. Jordan, Sept. 4th at the brick church two miles west of town, burial near by. The neighbors and friends are tendered the heartfelt thanks of Mr. Studebaker for their aid and sympathy in his sad bereavement.
