Greetings,
I descend from Steffan Morgenstern who was made the village judge in Leubsdorf, Saxony in 1528. His son, Hans succeeded him in 1529 and passed on in 1583. His sons were Abraham, Hans, Balthasar and Christoph. Abraham died without male issue in 1587, so Hans succeeded him as the village judge. The line remains in Leubsdorf through Christian Gottlob (1746-1808) from which the line wanders down to Kremsier in Southern Moravia (today SE Czech Republic) and then eventually Mährisch-Schönberg (now Sumperk, Czech Republic) by the late 19th Century. I can fill in the actual details, if interested.
