I am searching also for information on a Morrell from Darlington, SC. I do not recognize Rebecca, but there is probably some tie. I do not yet have much on my ancestor, Marion Fuller Morrell. He was born in Darlington about 1882, married Adella (Addie) Martin. Died in 1902 when hs daughter, Marian was 11 months old.
Apparently Marion had three brothers, but I have no info on them yet. I was told he was buried by the front steps of the first baptist Church of Darlington.
If you know anything or possible leads, please let me know. I will do the same.
