I recently purchased & transcribed a 1757 will of Sarah SILK, widow of Calne, Wiltshire. She was bur. 5 Jan 1757.
In her will she mentions two daughters Susanna, wife of John MORRELL & Sarah, wife of Benjamin BAILEY.
Sarah PARKER mar. 7 May 1753 Calne to Benjamin BAILEY.
Susanna PARKER mar. 2 Jul 1735 Calne, Wiltshire to John MORRELL and they had a son John MORRELL Jr. who was also mentioned in the will.
The mother Sarah ( ) mar. 1st Mr. (John?) PARKER and mar. 2nd John SILK, a hatter of Calne.
Enter the surname Morrell at http://history.wiltshire.gov.uk/heritage/wills_search.php
to see who else is from Calne.
The John SILK, hatter 1756 will mentions Susanna MORRELL as his daughter in law, which I take to mean his wife's daughter. The marriage records of Susanna & Sarah seem to confirm they were PARKERs.
