Mrs. Marie Tessier
CRANSTON -- Mrs. Marie Stella Tessier, 81, of 26 Juniper Drive, a Providence resident most of her life who moved here in 1969, died yesterday in Hospice St. Antoine, North Smithfield.She was the widow of Joseph Tessier.
Mrs. Tessier was a former member of the St. Ann Sodality of St. Charles Borromeo Church, Providence.
A daughter of the late Ernest and Merelda (Dubor) Morrissette, she was born June 19, 1893, in Canada.
She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Yvette Bolenisi of Warwick, Mrs. Alyce Rizzo of Cranston, and Mrs. Madeline Silva of Pawtucket; six brothers, Joseph, Julian, Albert, Paul and Lucien Morrissette, all in Canada, and Arthur Morrissette of Pawtucket; two sisters, Mrs. Alyce Julien and Mrs. Paul Bornais, both in Canada; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Mark's Church, Garden City, Cranston.Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, that city.
