Hi Patricia,
I am sorry that it has taken me so long to get back to you but what with taking a trip to Brugge and then the events of the 11th September I have not been doing as much to my One-Name study as I normally would normally have been doing.
From the masses of information that I have, your paternal grandmother Elizabeth Morson was born on the 1st March 1877 at 49 New Street, Willenhall, Staffordshire, England. She married your paternal grandfather Thomas Evans on the 26 December 1898 at St. Anne's Church, Willenhall, Staffordshire. Thomas Evans was born about 1875 in Bilston, Staffordshire, the child of Joseph Evans and Roseanna (Unknown). They had to my knowledge, so far, 5 Children, or do you know better!
I have no details of the desendants of Thomas and Elizabeth Evans nee Morson. I do not know when or where they died. I have copies of Elizabeth Morsons birth certificate and her marriage certificate to Thomas Evans. Do you know who Robert Ford one of the witnesses was?
Daniel Morson and Ellen Potts were married on the 1st August 1875 at St. Mark's Church, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire (copy held on file). I have not got a copy of Daniels' birth or baptism certificate but I believe he was born about 1854 at Moxley Staffordshire, the son of John & Elizabeth Morson nee Pugh.
Ellen Morson nee Potts sadley died in 1894. Daniel remaried Ann Perry on the 2nd May 1896 at The Register Office in Wolverhampton (copy held on file).
I hope the above has wetted your appetite. I look forward to your comments. You may reply directly to my E-mail address if you wish.
Regards,
Jane Morson.
