I am looking for information on the Mortenson family that immigrated from Denmark in the 1800,to the Upper Pennisula, Michigan. The information I have is that they lived on a small island just off the coast of Hessel,MI on lake Huron. I also know that they had at least 11 childeren , one being my greatgrandfather Morton, also some of there childern married into the Nye family. Any information would be helpful.
