looking for Jacob and Priscilla Mosby of Charlotte Co., Virginia

Jacob and Priscilla Mosby were brother and sister in Charlotte Co. VA in the late 1700s. They were born abt 1765. I am looking for their parents.
Parent that gave permission for Priscilla to marry was "Allsey Mosby" I don't know if that was her mother or father. Another researcher said it was her mother, but did not give a reason.
I have not been able to find out anything else. My impression is that their family was small or lived far away, because when Priscilla was widowed, there was no one to support her except her brother Jacob, and that not very well.
Priscilla married Robert Gilliam in Charlotte Co. VA and I have the Gilliam family well documented.
There was a Moseley family in the county, but my impression is that they were not related - their names do not appear on any depositions in the Chancery case over Jacob's estate, and since several of the depositions were about Jacob's sanity, you would think family would have something to say.
Jacob Mosby was convinced there was gold on his land and would not sell it, even for money to buy food. He may have taken a trip to Europe around 1797 or 1805. Sometimes his name was misspelled Moseley or Mosbey, but usually spelled Mosby.
