hi there,i know that this is all going to seem a bit strange, but here we go.I am a plumber living on an island in the torres straits, which is about 500 klms off of the north eastern tip of australia.this island has a population of approx 188 people.30% of the people on this island have the surname of mosby, they are all torres straits natives, there name derives from a white american who was called yanky ned mosby.he jumped ship in the torres straits around the late 1800s and married a few local girls.i am doing a bit of research on there behalf as none of them have a pc.any info on him would be greatly appreciated.thankyou.
