Hi Karen, I just started looking at your website. I am curious about the ancestors of John Singleton Mosby. I am related to a Sarah Mosby b. between 1734-1755, who married Hugh French b. same. She had a sister Mary and so I thought maybe she was the daughter of Samuel Mosby who married Jerusha Bowles. I am curious about John Singleton because my great grandfather, knowing he was related to the Mosbys somehow, but not exactly sure how, joined Mosby's Raiders during the Civil War. I'm trying to figure out the connection but can't seem to come across the genealogy of John Singleton Mosby, which I find surprising, considering how famous he is. Can you help? Thanks, Kathleen French Campbell
