Nancilee, Please explain DAR & UDC? And yes I may have the wrong William H. Mosby. I am looking for the William H. Mosby who is brother to John Singleton Mosby who fought and commanded in the American Civil War. Their parents are Virginia Jackson McLaurine and Alfred Daniel Mosby. The information I have came from a book entitled "43rd Battalian Virginia Cavalry Mosby's Command" in the back an excert reads "ret. after war in Amherst C. where he resided until the death of his father. M. Dec 1872 to Lucy Booth of Baltimore. Had five children. . . . D. 8/27/1913 Bur. Greenwood Cem. Bedford. Brother to Col. John Singleton Mosby" As far as my interest My husband's grandmother is a mosby. And John Singleton Mosby is supposed to be a great-Uncle. I'm tring to trace it back. And no I live in Texas. Anyway thanks for the response and let me know if I have the wrong William H. lp
