John- I have read the Cox will but that does not clarify the birthdate of the Agnes who married Samuel Rice. According to the Rice Bible, Agnes was born May 19, 1748 and died April 29, 1774. Yet, everywhere you see that Agnes who married Samuel was born 1736 or so. The Bible is still in the Rice family through Samuel's 3rd wife Sarah Stratton and safely kept in the home of a grgranddaughter in LA. My question remains...did Hezekiah and wife have a daughter named Agnes who died, then another girl ten years later was named Agnes??? Tis a puzzlement!
