Hi...just came acc. your Mosby message while searching for Truehearts.
Just to clear things up....Redstone was "Redstone Old Fort", now Brownsville, I believe, but in Fayette Co., Pa.
It is miles up the Monongahela River from Pittsburgh.(where I was born). Redstone Old Fort was the "jumping-off place" for all the various Preachers -Presbyterian, Methodist, etc. All that area was once Westmoreland Co., Pa.
Was John a Preacher? That might be a clue.
