There is a William H. Mosby b. Jan 1854 listed on the 1900 Census of Lavina District, Fergus, Montana, with a wife Mary b. 1861 in Iowa. I have been hoping that he might turn out to be my long lost William Mosby, son of Bernard Mosby and Emerine Tillery of Clay County, Missouri. Many pieces of information would make that probable. (My William Mosby was also b. in Missouri; he was in Benton, Fremont, Iowa (P.O. Eastport, Iowa) in 1870 (could have met his wife Mary there); William H. Mosby named a son Wade which is the name of my William Mosby's brother). However, the birthdate you gave makes it highly improbable, as Bernard and Emerine have another son b. June 1855. Please tell me more about your William H. Mosby. Could he possibly have been b. 01/18/1854? Thanks, Judy
