Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
Tom, I think you should know that the Edward Mosby, buried on Thursday Island, was not born in Virginia, in 1840, as stated by Jim Gray at his web site. Furthermore, Edward never served in the Confederate Army, as all the existing evidence points against this conclusion. Jim Gray just draws on this conclusion in an attempt to gain financial donations for projects which were originally researched by many others, whose work he has misappropriated from the volume titled CIVIL WAR VETERANS IN AUSTRALIA, edited by Mrs. Virginia Crocker, and published in 2000.
I have a copy of a signed statement (signed by Edward Mosby himself) to show that he was born further north than what Jim Gray believes, in 1825. Some (I refuse to show additional evidence because Gray is already known as a plagiarist, who steals the work of others, and will probably take this as well) of the evidence is shown at my web site at URL: http://home.ozconnect.net/tfoen/edwardmosby.htm
