Thank you so much for responding. I do have the information from the abstracted will of Wade Mosby, and a newspaper notation (Liberty Tribune-Dec 1860) that Bernard Mosby died "from a stab with a knife inflicted by .... The difficulty, we learn, originated about some lumber". I know about one of Bernard's sons, Samuel Wade Mosby who was age 5 at the time of his father's death, but I'd like to know more about the other children. I will write the Archives in Liberty and see what they might have. Thank you again for the suggestion and the address. Judy
