Doris, I can't make any connections in the immediate generations of MOSLEYs/MOSELYs/MOSELEYs you are working on but your ancestor, Ransom Hope RHAME [b. 29 Jan 1810 in Sumter Dist., SC; d. 3 Nov 1863 in Rapides Par., LA] married MOSLEY sisters, Sarah Alice abt. 1841 in Alabama and Susannah Hopkins on 7 Mar 1843 in Lowndes Co., AL. The parents of Sarah Alice and Susannah Hopkins have not been proven but are believed to be Elijah MOSLEY and Susannah HUBBARD.
When Ransom Hope RHAME moved his family to Louisiana in 1858 [Caldwell Par. & Rapides Par. in 1861] there was a John Womack MOSLEY who moved with them. He was a Baptist minister and had, by my count, thirteen children [eleven sons] with three wives. He was born 25 Dec 1818 in Alabama and died in Rapides Par., LA on 6 Dec 1911.
Since families tended to maintain alliances for extended periods, I suspect your MOSELEY may be a descendant of John Womack MOSLEY. Afterall, several of Ransom Hope RHAME's children moved from Rapides Par., LA to Shelby Co., TX and I would expect that some of the MOSLEY children moved with them.
I hope this helps you on your way. Bob
