Hi Toby,
It is great to find someone else researching this line! I haven't found any information at all about Edwin's ancestors or his life in England. I've found more info about his life in Nassau (mostly employment related, and some legal info) and descendants. I'd be really interested in hearing what you've found about descendants. How are you related to Edwin?

More details on the info I have:

Edwin Charles Moseley, Esq.
b. England (poss. London?)
d. 29 May 1885, Nassau, Bahamas

m. Mary or Amelia Louise Doyle, daughter of Captain Edward Doyle, bef. 1844. (also looking for info on this line)

Worked for King's School in Nassau before founding the Guardian.

1. Francis Arnold Moseley (1844-1883), m. Mary Amelia (May) Doyle
2. W.A. Moseley (1844-?), m. Grace Helena Cooke
3. Alfred Edwin Moseley (1848-1904), m. Valeria Christina Sargent (1851-1926)
4. Percival James MOseley (?-1887)

Alfred Edwin Moseley was my great-great grandfather; his daughter, Harriet D. (Hattie) Moseley m. Algernon H. Rae; they were parents of Dorothy Elizabeth Rae, my grandmother, who married Leonard Fogg Sanborn. I have quite a bit more info about Alfred's other children as well.
