Col.John James Trabo Moseley was a Charter Member of Hart Lodge, No. 61, F & AM, which was chartered in 1820. He played a major part in the history of this lodge. I am presently writing a history of that lodge and want to honor him. I have found two sources for Col. Moseley's biography, unfortunately, these two sources do not agree:

1) Jessamine County Kentucky 1798-1993 Published by the Jessamine County Historical Society.

2) History of Freemasonry in Jessamine County, Kentucky by Robert May Suell

I can't decipher which is more reliable. Can you provide me with an accurate, complete documented biography of Colonel Mosely?

Was he a Revolutionary War Soldier and a War of 1812 veteran? When was he born? When did he marry his first wife? These are a few of the discrepancies of the two sources.
