"John Turner" Moseley/Mosely/Mosley

I am looking for proof of parentage of John Turner Moseley. He left a will in Washington Co., AL. Census records give his birth state as Virginia, c 1787, and he died in Washington Co., AL in 1864. He appeared in the early Alabama Land records for Washington Co., AL with the spelling as Mozley/Mozeley as did his son Milledge. Later the spelling was Mosley/Moseley/Mosely and the family appears to have adopted the spelling Moseley.

If anyone is researching this family, please contact me.

Thank you

Mona Herrin
