I believe that we have corresponded before. My email is

Jane Mitchell gave this info previously:

From William Terrell Moseley backwards.

His father James Washington Moseley, mother Sarah Wilbanks

His grandfather Samuel Moseley, mother MaryAn Kelley

His gr-grandfather Samuel Moseley, mother Susannah Bledsoe. he was a Revolutionary War soldier. This Samuel was born in NC and came to Franklin Co Ga.

A cousin of the grandfather was a Mozley from Rabun Co Georgia.

I understand about spellings of Moseley. Dad's brother spelled his name Mosely because that's the way they spelled it when he went into the navy in WWI.

I don't know how the TERRELLS fit, but they were related.

Sorry I can't help you more.

I haven't done anything to verify this info because I could not find the link to my Mozleys-spelled Mozeley by the Rabun Co. Mozeleys.

I live in Prattville AL and desc. from Mozleys from Cobb/Douglas Co., GA>to North Alabama. My husband was born in Illinois to parents who werre originally from Mobile, AL.

I have been researching the Mozleys for about 15 years. DNA has supported the paper trail that we have established. Right now I am trying to find who a group of Moseleys from Washington Co., AL desc. from as the DNA of a desc. of that line matches Mozley DNA. Have you considered having one of your Moseley relatives donate for DNA? I am fascinated by the results and privacy is insured.

Write me at my email.
