Moser in Kansas City - 1889

I'm looking for a James Moser who was in Kansas City in the 1880s.

John J. Moser, my gr-gr-grandfather, son of Adam Moser & Susannah ?, came to Missouri by wagon from Tennessee in 1841 with his wife, Mary Murray and a child Henry. Mary died in 1844 and Henry died in the Federal army in fall of 1861.

John Moser then married Lucy Elizabeth Mayfield, daughter of James Mayfield & Mary Johnson. Lucy died in 1878, leaving John with three children: James, Margaret, and John Jr.

James was living in Kansas City in 1889. Margaret died, leaving three children of her own. John Jr. stayed on the old home place.

I'm looking for James. I have a photo from about that time period of a Jack Moser, taken in Kansas City. He can't be a descendant of John Jr. - I know all of those. My cousins (in Cherokee Co., KS) remember talk of Moser relatives in Kansas City, and a Moser moving company. Does anyone have any Moser genealogies that link to Kansas City at that time period? If you want to see the picture of Jack Moser, I'll email it to you.
