I've been able to fill in some of the gaps:
Raymond Earl Mosley was born 6/22/1930 in TX & died 11/26/1983 in San Bernadino, CA.

His father, John Burke* Mosley, was born 4/17/1904 in Grand Saline, Wills Point, TX & died 07/1981 in Riverside, CA. (*sometimes recorded as Burton, but usually as Burke)

His father, John Wesley Mosley, was born 12/16/1871 in either Sulpher Springs, Hopkins, TX. He married Sallie Johnson Veal in 1893. They had 9 children between 1888 & 1910. According to census records, they lived in Atoka, OK in 1910 & Van Zandt Co., TX in 1920. He died 08/26/1949 in Ft. Worth, Tarrant Co., TX.

NOW I'm stuck here. John Wesley's death certificate lists him as a Jr. However, several people & some public family trees list his father as John William Mosley, born 1838 (married Hannah Jernigan in Hunt Co, TX January 23, 1867); died 1919 in Atoka, OK.

Only problem is, the records I'm finding don't support this. It's all very confusing.

My search continues --- and leads are appreciated. :)
