The source of the record about Thomas Mosman (not Mossman) is with a notation about James Mosman. The name Thomas Mosman in Scottish records is spotty. The original citation is (Registrum Domus de Soltre necon Ecclesie Collegiate S. Trinitaris prope Edinburgh, etc., [Edinburgh: The Bannatyne Club, MDCCCLXI], 52 and 331).

See my book that develops the descendants of James Mosman (or possibly Thomas). It can be found in major libraries.
