I would like to know more about John Mossman and James Mossman, his conjectrual brother. It seems there may have been other Mossman's living in Rockingham Co., VA. during this time -- 1820's -- not related to our family. (please visit this website:

Also in some of your research I have seen, you have, John married Grace O'dell "about 1815, probably at Passaic, Orange Co., NJ," there is no Orange County in New Jersey. However, there is a Passaic Co., NJ.

You have Sarah / Sally Anne (d/o John & Grace) married to Daniel Womeldroff & 2nd marriage to Lon Beckner (her daughter Ina Hutsinpillar Womeldorff married Leonadis "Lon" Ricketts Beckner).

You have John Wesley Mossman (s/o Albert James Mossman) who married Lizzie Mahala Shepherd -- two additional sons, Charles & Joseph. There was only one son born to this union, his name was Maurice Edwin.

Your Albert James was named James Albert according to our family records.

I understand you have written a 4th Volume about the Mossman Family. I hope some of these corrections have all ready been made.
