Thank you for the information you provided. However, I find that I have three concerns that were not addressed by the book. Where did Samuel die? If he did not die in Virginia, did he return to England? Is there a ship record recording his return? If he left Westmorland County, to whom did he give or sell his land? Is there a prisoner transport record for a John Mottershead? God bless you again for your information, whatever prejudices may have been included.
