In his Will of 1741, John MOTHERSHEAD of Westmoreland County Virginia, bequeathed "one feather bed and bedstead, one iron pott (sic) and one iron pessel (sic)" to his daughter, Ann QUESENBURY (sic).

There was an earlier John MOTHERSHEAD who died in 1730 in Westmoreland County VA, who also had a daughter, Elizabeth, who was also married to a QUISENBERRY. Since this John who died in 1730 also had a son named John, my thought is that the John who dies in 1741 *might* be the son of the one who died in 1730.

We have several of the MOTHERSHEAD Wills, including the ones mentioned above, transcribed on our website: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~jcat2/
