Mark, My great grandmother was Mary Grant Caplinger Motsinger. She married Solomon Fisher Motsinger after her first husband died from sickness in the civil war. My grandmother, Easter Caplinger was raised in the Motsinger home, and her brother was raised by his grandfather William Martin Shoebe Caplinger. If you you don't already know about this information let me know. I remember buying gas from Copper Motsinger filling station in Crab Orchard. He looked enough like my father Virgil L. Edwards to be brothers even though the only blood connection would have been from their grandmother Mary.

I went to school with Virgil Motsinger, I didn't know at the time that we were step-cousins, I guess that is what you would call it.
