Jennifer, I am searching for my husband's great-aunt. Her name was Maria Wolfington Motsinger and she was the first wife of James son of Huldah Evans and Solomon Motsinger. I found information in Thomasville NC Library, Maria died giving birth to infant daughter that lived 1 month.
There was a 3 year daughter named "Nancy or Flora" between this union. James married Martha Raper Shields later on. Can you give me any information on the surviving child of Maria and James Motsinger? Maria's parents were James and Nancy McCracken Wolfington, there were two other sister, Delphinia and Emma Duella (Emma is my husband's great-grandmother.)
