In looking for my Rowe family and Knowing there is a connection somewhere- Stainbacks, Browns etc. A Mountcastle was I believe a groomsman in my grgrandmothers wedding in Halifax Co. N.C. the Rowe she was marrying from Richmond and just yesterday I found them.

My connection may be that my Hannah Fairlamb wife of John L.Rowe mother of my grgrandfather Herbert G.Rowe/Annie Lou Stainback, was an Allen,as were the cousins of the Stainbacks. Annie Lous Father Peter N. Stainback was the son of William Stainback,Wm and his twin John married Mason girls, Mary and Indianna, they had also a sister Eliza.
