I have Cleveland City Directory listings for Mountcastles from 1857 to 1911. Most recent male names are "Montague" and "Sidney".

There was also a Mountcastle Map Company based in Cleveland as recently as 1972 (although another source suggests that the company was sold in the 1940s).

Social Security records list an "Earl Mountcastle" (1896-1967) but he was born and died in Texas.

If you come across a Henry (R.?) Mountcastle (born c.1850s?) in your Ohio searches please let me know. That would be my elusive grandfather.

Good luck!
