Researching Suzanna MOUZON and Rebecca MOUZON, granddaughters of James DAVIS, d. 1818, of the Bell River, Deep Creek areas of Sumter District, Clarendon County, South Carolina.

This JAMES DAVIS was a brother of Benjamin DAVIS, also of the same area at the time of his death.

Suzanna MOUZON and Rebecca MOUZON are believed to be the children of Dorothy DAVIS, daughter of James DAVIS, and her husband, Capt. William Henry III MOUZON, born 20 Nov 1773, [son of William Henry II MOUZON b. 18 May 1741, and his wife, Susannah Elizabeth TAYLOR].

Interested in learning more about the MOUZON and DAVIS families, particularly the wife of James DAVIS, apparently deceased before his will was executed.

Interested in corresponding further with researchers of both MOUZON and DAVIS families....
